CORNELIANUM - SANGIOVESE SUPERIORE DI ROMAGNA RISERVA D.O.C.

ORIGINI - NON CANCELLARE MAI QUESTA SEZIONE

Coriano seems to derive its name from the fundus Cornelianus, the vast estate of the noble family Corneli possessed here. Suited to agriculture since Roman times, the corianese territory was defined by Raffaele Adimari, in 1616, “so vague, good, pleasant and fruitful that you cannot want more”. With the ancient name of Coriano, and in honour of the noble gens who first experienced the fertility of its land, Santini wanted to call this reserve not less noble than Sangiovese one.
